Hello everybody! Today, 07.18.07 the painting is made in solidarity to victims's relatives of the TAM flight JJ 3054. Two hundred people perished at the end of an airport runway in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I've landed many times at that same airport, and personally, I dread landing there. I almost could see people watching tv in their living rooms, from the airplane's window.I sat down this morning to eat breakfast, and I thought of the victims of last night's crash. They didn't wake up for breakfast this morning with their husbands, wives, sons, boy/guirlfriends, friends, business associates, strangers, with me. I want that copies of this painting, eventually reach the hands of every victim's family representative, as my solidarity's gesture for their losses.

Helo, everyone! July 15th,07. But who is this Mario Barret? I'm trying to figure him out as well.Well, the press, at least the local Atlanta's press, is talking about this upcoming composer singer, whose new album, Go, hits the stores at the end of July. It sounds good to me that at the early age of 20 years old, he's already heading up to the top music's charters. Enough of promoting him, I hope he finds out I'm talking about and painting him. Collect Mario's CDs, collect Bosco's art!

Hello everybody! Here I go again! July 14th, 07, Bastille's Day! While the French celebrate their freedom, I jump across the pond to England, and bring to you what might become the next British celebrity, Sophie Sparkles! In these celebrity infused frenzied days we are living in, I'm all for spotting the next big thing. I tend to look ahead, not to the past. Even though painters have crowned celebrities like Marylin Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Jackie O'Kennedy, Madona, I'm content with siding along the upcoming, yet to be discovered celebrities. Do you want to come along with me on this journey? Start collecting my celebrities, and let's grow together!Dimension: 4.5" x 4"

Hello everybody! I'm back , 07.08.07, with a new artwork!Queltzacoalt, One of The Aztec's God, inspired in one reproduction, my friend Francisco P. brought over to introduce me to the Aztec's culture. The events that preceded this piece are intriguing. This week I just learn that my very famous Brithish colleague, visual artist, Dammien Hirst, became the richest artist still alive, when at the of age 42 years old, sold this week at White Space Gallery in London, a platinum or stainless steel skull, encrusted with more than two hundred diamonds, crowned by a pink solitarium one, for a hefty price of a half billion Dollars! The inspiration behind the work: the Aztec culture! On Friday, we celebrated Frida Kalo's birthday; she would be one hundred years old, if she were alive... the White Space Gallery, here in Atlanta, put together a retrospective, with a vaudeville show, and lot's of margarittas, and coronas. At the celebration I met this upcoming leader of the chicano's movement, here in Atlanta, Francisco P. He visited my studio, yesterday, Saturday, and commissioned two pieces of the Aztec's Gods. When he talks about the Aztec's culture, reminds me of kids talking about dinossaurs. He's totally fascinated by it! It seems that the Aztec's culture is becoming a hot topic nowdays!
Here's Queltzalcoalt, folks!
Enjoy it!
